Pepper Panic Saga Episode 21 – Levels 296 – 310
Guide for Pepper Panic Saga Episode 21 with Tips
On Tuesday June 17th 2014 Pepper Panic Saga released episode 21 Pepper Park which includes levels 296 – 310. It has a really great looking map and background image, and some really nice board layouts that make it a lot of fun. It isn’t the most difficult episode to play, but it is interesting with a nice combination of all the different types of levels included.
There were no new features released in Pepper Panic Saga episode 21, but the game did see a major overhaul at this time. Shockwaves, one of the game’s fundamental features, have been completely revamped. You’ll notice right away that the graphics for shockwaves have changed, but there are also changes in the way they work. Straight line match fives now make shockwaves, and shockwaves that come from match fours no longer remove the small peppers in their path. Instead all big matches now make shockwaves, and all shockwaves grow all the peppers that they come in contact with.
The shockwave that comes from the straight line match-5 is also more powerful than the other shockwaves as it can move through obstructions. Read our updated guide on how to make a shockwave to understand how they work now.
As far as the new levels are concerned it seemed to us that many of them were designed around the idea of creating shockwaves that go up. Unfortunately for us our game didn’t update fully until we refreshed it at level 305 so we had no idea what the members in our group were talking about when they were going nuts for the new graphics. Even though the action from our matches was a little less potent than everyone else’s at that time we thought levels 299 and 302 had the most interesting layouts. Again there were no real roadblock levels where we saw a lot of players getting hung up, and most of the levels were easy enough to figure out. They all still required the right board though, so knowing what you were trying to do and actually completing the goals could take a couple of tries. Level 300 held us up the longest, but other than that Pepper Panic Saga episode 21 proved to be pretty manageable.
We’ve got the full video playlist below and will be adding tips for the individual levels soon. Leave a comment and let us know what you think about the changes in the game, and if you think it makes it better.
Oh yeah, they also changed the board layout on several levels. The ones we know about so far are level 110, level 85, level 94, level 100, and level 168. Please let us know if you come across any other levels that have been changed. We will update the guides as we find any changes.
